BIOGRAPHY

Karen trained at the Drama Studio. She now combines acting with producing stage plays such as Tears Before Bedtime, her one woman show at the Kings Head, Almeida and on tour; Creditors playing Tekla at the New End Theatre, where she also presented Susannah York in The Human Voice; and a tour of Intimate Exchanges at the Yvonne Arnaud (Guildford), Bloomsbury Theatre (London), and in North America.

Other performances include: Gertrude in Hamlet, Clara in Sons And Lovers (both Bloomsbury), Natasha in The Three Sisters, the Aunt in Charley's Aunt, Nurse in Romeo And Juliet, Lady Macbeth in London and on tour. TV roles include Estrangerous, and Heroes And Villains with Rowan Atkinson (BBC). Films: Crazy, and Kay in Lovelifting, which she produced (C4).

She is also a Psychotherapist/Medical Hypnotherapist!
